Fyre & Wylde

We’re a new, small but passionate woodland based not – for – profit business, tucked away in Fowler’s Hill Wood in Cabus, just outside of Garstang, Lancashire.

Growing connection, wellness and a greener tomorrow

Passion for Nature

At Fyre & Wylde, we believe that nature has the power to reconnect us to ourselves, to each other, and to the wider world.

We’re here to create a space where people can slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the simple joys of the outdoors, while protecting and enhancing our beautiful natural environment.

We offer a range of experiences from learning green woodworking crafts and helping to protect wildlife to making sustainable charcoal and getting involved in conservation volunteering. We also offer a beautiful, low-impact outdoor space for small events and gatherings, all with the forest as your backdrop.

But this is just the beginning…

What We Offer:

Take part in unique events and activities rooted in the traditions of the woodlands:

  • Woodland Restoration and Conservation
  • Volunteer Opportunities
  • Sustainable Charcoal Production
  • Eco – Woodland Based Hire Space
  • Heritage Woodland Crafts
  • Woodland Wellness Sessions

In the future, we hope to grow even more — offering regular wellness workshops, heritage woodland skills, biodiversity projects, and a “pay-it-forward” scheme to make sure our activities are open to everyone.

It’s about building a strong, resilient community that can face challenges like mental health struggles, social isolation, and even climate change, together.

If you’re looking for somewhere to get your hands dirty, learn something new, meet like-minded people, or simply find a little peace in the trees — you’re very welcome here.
